"There is a crack in everything; that’s how the light gets in" — Leonard Cohen
Emma was born in New York City to European parents and raised by an artist who taught her to see—how light moves, how shadows fall, and how these subtle details shape greater meaning. That early way of observing became the foundation of her creative work today.
She studied Film and Media in Pennsylvania, then returned to New York, moving quickly into producing and creative directing for a global agency. Ideas became events, concepts became experiences, unfolding across cities and countries.
From living in Madrid, Spain and then Biarritz, France, she worked as a freelance photographer, creative director and producer. Photography shifted from process to instinct—an ongoing conversation with time, motion, and attention. The work grew into a personal body of work exhibited in Australia, France, and Spain. Now based in an artist residency and represented by Nowe Studios, Emma collaborates with brands, artists, and creatives across photography, motion, film, and creative production. Her work lives in the space between intention and intuition.A visual communicator.
